About Us

At We Love Llŷn we are passionate about the beauty of our wonderful peninsula; its splendid mountains and miles of stunning coastline, combined with a rich Welsh culture, ensure that it retains a magical charm and timeless character.
We have chosen the best way we can to share all of this to as many people as possible with the creation of the We Love Llŷn app, together with our website www.welovellyn.co.uk and magazine ‘We Love Llŷn’.

The We Love Llŷn team:

Helen Griffiths: Boss
Helen has lived on Pen Llŷn for the main part of her life so this spectacularly beautiful area is closer to her heart than anywhere else not just in the UK but in the world. Helen’s role within our little team is admin, combined with overseeing and coordinating, otherwise known (in Helen’s words!) as ‘general dogsbody duties’. Helen’s animals, which include three dogs, two horses, a cat, a goat and an owl, take up what little free time she has!

Jo Toft: Editor
Jo lives in Mynytho with her husband Si and two young daughters Lucie and Millie. She’s always loved to write, has a BA in English Literature and has been with We Love Llŷn from the start as our chief features writer and editor. When she's not working Jo loves to get out and about around the peninsula taking the girls on ‘mini adventures’. When she does gets a little (rare) time to herself she loves nothing more than to curl up with a cup of tea and a good book.

Lauren Griffiths: Creative Director
Lauren has recently moved away from Pen Llŷn for work but still enjoys designing our lovely magazine. She grew up in Bwlchtocyn and misses her home a lot, so makes sure she visits extremely regularly. When she is home she enjoys visiting all her favourite places to eat locally, and always tries to catch a local live music gig. The thing she misses most is being so close to the beach and the wonderful views from her childhood home on top of a hill.

Becci Mills: Advertising Manager
Becci moved to Pen Llŷn when she was three and even though she’s spent time away this has always been the place that she calls home. In 2016 Becci took the plunge to change her life for the better and return to her family home here on the Llŷn, she plans to spend most of the year here with a few months away each winter working in the snowy mountains of the French Alps - as she says, she’s literally ‘living the dream’!
